The public is invited to my presentation to Phi Alpha Theta, the history honors society at Drake University. A reception at 5:30 p.m. will be followed by the presentation at 6 p.m. in the Cowles Library Reading Room.

At the end of the program, I plan to have a book signing. Schedule: Meal at 6:30 p.m. followed at 7:15 p.m. by Patrick Hoehne (U of Neb-Lincoln) giving the program, "Mapping the Causes & Violence of the New York City Draft Riots of 1863." Afterwards, I will sell and sign books.
