I plan to speak on “Five stories to flesh out the most common motive of Iowans who served the Confederacy.”  The stories will also shed light on ramifications for family relationships and the emotional and political pressures in Iowa during the war.

At 5 p.m, the Round Table will have dinner at Sam’s of Arlington at 1863 West Central, Arlington Heights, IL.

At 7:45 p.m., I’m scheduled to give my presentation at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 West Fremont Street, Arlington Heights.   Afterwards, I will be available to sell and sign books.
